3rd Sixty Seconds!
Once a King thought of gifting a stallion for his son’s birthday
and informed his ministers to arrange for a display of best breeds of stallions
available in the world! Since the Prince was small to handle the stallion
(adult) King arranged for the colts for his choice which he can handle! The Prince looked at all the colts and was not
impressed by its look. By mistake one of the horse seller brought a foal (donkey/ass) along
with the colts. After seeing the foal, the Prince jumps and says -
Prince: Hurray! I got the stallion of my choice which looks
amazing!
Since the King doesn’t want to disappoint his son, he too agreed
to his choice and gifted him that!
The Prince started loving his little friend and enjoyed his
sound like the music of the world! Both became so close by not leaving each
other where ever they go!
After some years he had races with the local stallions in
his country! In all the competitions he won without fail! He was so proud of
his foal and was daring to compete with any stallions across the world.
He announces an international horse race in his country and
invited all the stallions across the world to participate the race.
On that day - the best stallions in the world assembled in the
ground along with their jockeys!
The gold and diamond jewels on the foal was representations
of the ownership of the foal!
The Prince was sitting on the foal and ready for the competition!
The moment the whistler blown, and the gate was open from
the start point - the Prince closed his eyes and drew his foal as fast as the
foal can! The Prince got the habit of closing his eyes and riding the foal in
the competitions (because of the belief he had on it and opens his eyes after a
minute).
After 60 seconds the Prince opened his eyes and saw the stallions
following him from a long distance and was happy with the foal’s performance.
The Prince patted his foal and told good show….. keep going
forward!
The Prince heard the crowd cheering up and happiness was
spread across!
After 60 seconds he opened his eyes and saw all the stallions
are behind him and still he was ahead of them!
The Prince told his foal, good friend you have proven that
you are the stallion’s stallion in this world! We must win this race!
The crowd was cheering with joy & laughing louder!
The Prince was thinking that his people are happy for him
and his performance!
After 60 seconds he was about to open his eyes something hit
his eyes little harder which led uncontrollable tears in his eyes. Its nothing
but a piece of dust from the stallion’s shoes which passed by hit his eyes!
The King in the audience row also filled with tears by his son’s
performance and the son thought that dad also got hit by the dust! Later the Prince understood why people started laughing at him!
The Prince was wondering by the speed of the stallions were
about to complete the final track and his foal is completing its first track!
Every 60 seconds the stallion completed one full track whereas
the foal took more than three 60 seconds to complete one track!
Moral: Don’t Accept anything
by appearance! - Accept with the practical Performance & not by the words one
speaks!
